Idlewilde By The River, located in Estes Park, Colorado, near Rocky Mountain National Park, provides cabins along the Big Thompson River. Naughty Pine is the only 2-story cabin with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, complete with a stone fireplace. It accommodates up to 8 people. Aloha is a large 2-bedroom cabin for up to 4 people. Rivers Edge (Ataloa) is a 1-bedroom efficiency cabin. Hummingbird has a separate living room and 2 bedrooms, accommodating up to 6 people. Cannon Ball is a larger 2-bedroom cabin that accommodates up to 4 people, approximately 65 feet from the river. Pine Rest is a 2-bedroom cabin next to a shaded courtyard and accommodates up to 4 people. Riverside is a premium 1-bedroom cabin accommodating up to 4 people. Pine Cone is a smaller 1-bedroom cabin for up to 2 people. Shemara and We Four are large 2-bedroom cabins. Holiday is a larger 1-bedroom cabin for up to 4 people. Linger Longer is a 3-bedroom cabin.
Outdoor Features
Excellent trout fishing is available. Fishing is allowed within the property boundaries, with a limit of 4 per day and 8 in possession. A Colorado State fishing license is required. Guests have the opportunity to see deer, elk, chipmunks, and hummingbirds. There are several charcoal grills, gas grills, and a gas fire pit on the property. There is also a firepit ring in the meadow. Firewood can be purchased at the nearby gas station/market. There are picnic tables and chairs throughout the property.

Guests can drive, bike, or hike up Trail Ridge Road, or try out the Fall River Road to trek over the Continental Divide.
