Great Sand Dunes Lodge is located at the entrance to Great Sand Dunes National Park, 55 km from San Luis Valley Regional Airport. It is situated at the 16-mile marker on Highway 150. The lodge is not in the town of Mosca. Nearby landmarks include Medano Creek (3 km away). The San Juan Mountains are in the distance to the west. The lodge provides views of 14,000-foot peaks and the San Luis Valley.
