Step Back in Time
Box Canyon Lodge & Hot Springs is a charming Victorian style hotel dating back to 1959. The historic charm of the hotel has been maintained throughout the years in keeping with the Victorian architecture present throughout the town of Ouray, known as 'The Switzerland of America'. The hotel is near the entrance of Box Canyon. The medicinal mineral hot springs percolate out of the hillside. The Ouray hot springs have been a beacon to many.

The main attraction at the Box Canyon Lodge is the four outdoor hot tubs with natural thermal waters. The redwood hot tubs are located on multi-level decks that offer views of the mountain peaks. Guests enjoy the mineral springs soaking tubs terraced on the mountainside and recharge following a day of hiking, four-wheeling, sight-seeing, or skiing.

It is near Main Street Auditorium, Box Canyon, Rotary Park, Ouray Alchemist Museum & Penthouse, Lee's Ski Hill, Ouray County Museum and Ouray Hot Springs.
